Joseph, you are right about the reset theory. Sometimes, when
trying to erase a folder, you get the information that you can't,
because it is being used by another process. After you reset, it
will let you back in, and erase it.

Rhonda,
I guess it is not a beast after all. I think I've got a
hypothesis: if there
is a folder that does not erase and gives message about network,
there might
be some mysterious hidden, protected folders or files that reside
there. It
sometimes happens sometimes, but Reset seems to get rid of it (I
haven't
tested this theory though; this is purel6y my opinion).

Hmmm! Joseph, F F E is the only thing I can do. I cannot do it
the
standard way, but the F F E does get rid of all of mine.
Aren't these funny beasts?

Rhonda,
It also happened to me as well. FFE will not work because there
are other
hidden folders/files under that offending folder.

Subject: [Braillenote] Problem: unable to erase folders
Hi all:
I may have discovered another problem with KS7.2. Every time I
try to
use the BACKSPACE+1+4 command to erase a folder I get the
message, "The
network request is not supported". This even happens when trying
to
erase with the folder manager! How am I supposed to erase any
folders,
short of using ActiveSync? Is anyone else having this problem?
Have a great day,
Alex
