ah, ok so if i go to my local walmart, and buy a wireless card meant for a
laptop i could just plug it in to my mpower and activate the wireless option
and it should work?
Also, where do I plug one of thoughs in on my mpower?

The software on the CDRom is for the laptop, not the Braille Note. I have
the Ammbicom card for my Braille Note, but because I do not have a built
in card reader in my laptop, I bought another Ambicom card as a PC card
for that. That required the software. As for the BN, all I have to do is
plug the card into the back slot and activate the wireless connectivity.

If the laptop recognizes the WiFi card, then you can use it. Most
laptops these days comes with the built-in WiFi chip. If it does not
recognize it, then you can install the driver that is included with the
card.

You are using so-called static IP address.
The router should be
configured to assign dynamic IP address.
Alternatively, when you are
setting up a connection configuration, say
no at the prompt about obtain
IP address, then type the address like this:
192.168.0.25. Then you won't
have this problem.
