Thanks, Rhonda. I tried the internal mike, but it won't work because every time I advance the Braille display, there is a thud on the recording. Thanks for the info, though.

Keith

Hi, Keith:

You can use your internal microphone. It depends on the distance you need to record from, and things like that. I believe an hour and a half takes about 128 of memory, so you should be fine. I have not used the external microphone, so I'm not much help there. You can change everything in the setup options in the media player. Enjoy it, and good luck.

Subject: [Braillenote] Question About Recording

I am a public speaker and am wondering if it is feasible to use
the BN mPower to record my 30-minute sermons. I know it is designed for memos but am wondering how much battery power and memory would be taken to do this. The plan would be to immediately transfer the sermons to a web site so they wouldn't permanently occupy much space.

Also, I read where an Electoret microphone needs to be used? As
I am new to recording, is this a brand or some type of microphone?

Thanks for any help you can give.
