Rob, I've had a BN classic or mPower for over four years, and
have NEVER used activesync. Never, ever.

Anywho, given the Disk On Chip Technology, and I think
you can install updates to KeySoft directly on the
BrailleNote without ActiveSync, do you really need
ActiveSync at all to use the BrailleNote? I know with
the PACmate that you do or else you will lose the data
you have on it, but with the BrailleNote I don't think
that's the case.
