I think the PK flash disk shows something like a capacity of 13.97 MB when
you check the flash disk info. And, well, I usually have close to two MB
free before I start downloading email, actually maybe just a bit under that,
but close.

Yes, grin, I know I could free up some space on the PK by keeping some of my
info on CF cards only , but, as with my Pocket PC devices, I tend to like to
have a lot of what I consider my important info with me when I'm out and
about, so I'm willing to take the risk.

What I mean by this, is that I have downloaded one too many email from time
to time on the BN, thus causing my flash disk to disappear. So, I've taken
to just downloading maybe 30 or 40 email or so at a time, and that has
mostly avoided the problem. Although, as I've mentioned before, I'm most
grateful to the late Dean Jackson for giving me the steps to bring back my
flash disk, just in case.

Subject: RE: [Braillenote] Data loss

Hi, I can not remember losing data on my Classic unless I have
had to do a reset. That is not including the problem I was having
with email a little while back. As for my PK, well I think I got
a dud machine. Because it is the only PK I know of that has had
so many problems and the people I have talked to from Humanware
say the same thing. I have had my PK for about a year now and I
have lost the flash drive twice meaning that I have had to send
it back to New Zealand. Besides the flash drive crashes I have
not lost any data on the machine.

If I could get my PK fixed for good I will be a very happy
braillenote user.
