I think so. IM is increasingly used not just for talking but for connecting groups, such as for business or school projects, when said groups could not otherwise meet. I for one hate having to use my PC just to IM people. The EBuddy solution works, but not as well or conveniently as a full-fledged IM program. I still stick to my idea of having every user that is able participate in a discussion to plan exactly what features would be most helpful to the most people.

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] what is humanware doing?

I've never known a note taker or computer for that matterwhich
would
give a massage, instant or otherwise. Wow, could the blindness
industry make a bundle on that.

I'm teasing of course. I really do understand that you meant
instant
messaging, and I'm sure it would be wonderful for those who use
it.
But would it be useful to enough people to ad as a feature I've
always wondered how Humanware decides which things customers ask
for
get top priority. At 01:27 PM 8/9/2007, chaman wrote:
Hello.

I want to know what exactly humanware are doing. There is too
less
communication between humanware and the users. And when are we
going to get the features that are really used by people now like
instant massaging. All competitor notetakers have this
capability. Humanware always seem to be improving on features
and
not having new features. Yes i agree that the features that are
currently there should be improved before going any further.
But come on how are all the competitors doing? Keysoft 7,5 should
not be a sma count from uk customers. us customers have some
features to look forward to but us uk customers have not much to
look forward to.
Please could someone from humanware respond.
Thanks
