Well Anne, all I can say at least is that if you don't have a USB cable for
your BrailleNote, chances are that either it's an mPower, but they forgot to
include the USB cable, or it's a Classic, which doesn't even have USB
support. Just to check, does your BrailleNote have a horizontal port? If so,
this may be the parallel port. The mPower replaces the parallel port with a
USB client slot and an SD card slot. Sorry if I couldn't be of any more
help, but hope that gives a clue somewhat.

Subject: [Braillenote] A Few Questions

Hello All

I have now purchased a Braillenote from a friend but I don't know what model
it is. Could someone please help me, where do I go to see exactly what it
is? Also, I have no instructions so wanted to download the manuals on the
net but again, because I don't know the model, this is going to be awkward
for me.

I thought a Braillenote comes with a USB lead so you can transfer files from
PC and vise versa but I don't seem to have one. Obviously, if it does have
this feature I can always get a USB lead, it wouldn't be a problem. The
Braillenote itself is only over a year old so to me, it's still relatively
new.

I read on the list before a lot of you get books on your Braillenote, how
does this work? I'm sorry for all the questions, hope someone can help me.

Regards

Anne
