Hello Anne.
Although I am not a Braillenote user, I do use the Voicenote,
which is in the same family.
The instruction manual should be on the machine. From the main
menu press B for Books, then follow the prompt to M for Manuals,
on the System disk, and then select the chapter you want to read.
You should also have an audio CD with the unit.
