Hi All,

I've been trying very hard for some time now to connect the PK via Bluetooth using a Nokia N70, and firstly my thanks to those who made suggestions. I've made some progress, and found what seems to be a Braillenote-specific problem, but still no joy, so here's a summary, hoping somebody can suggest a solution.

Having correctly paired with the phone, and activated the Bluetooth modem, using almost all the correct settings given by my mobile nnetwork provider, when I try to connect, I have a series of messages as follows:
"Dialling", "connected", "logging on", "log-on successful", "disconnected".

This proved that most things are in place, and the PK is connecting with the Bluetooth modem OK. Thinking there might still be a problem either wwith the phone or the network, I set up a Bluetooth internet connection from a laptop. I got a similar result, but then discovered that an additional modem string was required. This allowed the laptop to get a good Internet connection, so phone and network are working OK.

Now, as soon as I enter the additional modem string into the PK, (being careful to use computer Braille with all the correct characters), when I then try to connect, I get the message "Cannot find the port".

In other words, it seems that entering the additional modem string somehow breaks the connection with the modem.

Does anybody know what is going on here and what I can do to solve it?

All the best,

Peter
