Hi Vicky and all,

The problem that I have with the PK freezing can occur anywhere. At
present the unit is at work and I haven't used it for over a week, so
I'm not too sure as to the condition of it when I return after my break
in terms of whether I will have to do a full reset or if it will work
straight away. But yes, the freezing issue can occur anywhere in
KeySoft, but primarily when I am writing documents or filling in the
calendar. I then have to do a full reset to get it to work again. Does
many others have this problem, where the PK just freezes anywhere within
Keysoft?

One other thing that I've noticed is that sometimes I can be taken out
of documents and either to the main menu or the filename prompt. It
does this without telling me and this means that I inevitably loose a
bit of work. Does anyone else have this happen to them as well.

Thanks, Karina

If it is the exiting out of the email message with the PK that
you're talking about, I usually don't have to do a reset to get
my PK going again. I just kind of move the advance and back keys
a bit, and then my PK starts acting right again.

Oh, as for sending back the PK, one might get it back in a couple
of weeks, but then it could take two or three months. For, I've
known at least a couple of people who had theirs gone for that
long, although there were other issues involved that required
parts to be replaced in their cases.
