Tom, It is very nice to see that you went through the hoops and got everything set up with your BrailleNote and 6682. You will be able to get the EDGE, but this will be very rare, download speed can be anywhere from 20-200 KBPS.
It really is only useful downloading emails and maybe files of 1-2 MB at most. When I got the prompt for authentication on the BN, I checked the Braille grade in use and found that it was set to Grade 1. I'd been using this grade and entering 0000 using Nemeth code, no number sign, thinking that I was entering all zeros. So, on a hunch, I switched to computer Braille and entered the zeros that way, then keyed in 0000 on the 6682. I got a message that the devices were paired. I then tried the connection and it works fine. So this is cool, I can get web access with the BN and the 6682. Now I'm wondering what sort of speed I'll see with this setup. I don't know if I'm using the Edge network or whatever it's called. How can I tell?
