Hi Terri,

Thanks for your input. Actually, this thought had occurred to me, but
unfortunately, I didn't really come across much in the way of braille notes
or Mpowers on Ebay. However, I will follow that statement with the
disclaimer that I will never be caught claiming I am an incredibly savvy
Ebay user. <grin> I suppose the bottom line for me is, I simply can't
afford to spend thousands of dollars at the moment. Now, within the next
year or so, I *may* be able to figure something out for a transplant, or
whatever the upgrade option through Humanware at the time may be. Only time
will tell, as they say.

Jenny

Dear Jenny,

Here is another thing to consider. Many classic users on this list have
posted that the classic performs sluggishly when its software is upgraded to
7.0.

My suggestion is to use your classic as a braille display with a PC or as a
backup unit. Go to the ebay web site and look for a used Mpower and buy it.

You'll have the best of both worlds and you won't have to hassle with
upgrades and transplants.
