Hi All: This kind of thing with battery changing is exactly one of the reasons I am an advocate for places around the country and in other parts of the world to be trained and licensed by Humanware and other blindness companies to be able to do repair work. As I think I've said before on this list, it would be much more convenient for a person to be able to take, with authorization from Humanware, their product into a local or somewhat local (within 50 miles) place to get repairs done. And, they wouldn't have to be without their units as long.
