Hi, I've got my unit working again but am having trouble installing the boot
loader. After I hit reset with dots 4-6, I typed the letter b after I hear
the tones. But nothing happens and the message "update menu 2.6" remains on

Can you tell us what is displayed on the braille display? That would help
us
immensely. Alternatively, try Service Reset (Reset with Record button) to
see what happens.
