Hi Peter,

I will be the first to admit I know very little about internet radio but I personally disagree with your post about the BN not being good for internet radio because it doesn't use Real Player. I have listened to quite a few internet radio sites using the Winn Amp option and it works just fine. As I said, I am no expert but for what I have done, I have enjoyed the BN's ability to stream these stations.

Sincerely,
Nikki B.

The radio on the Braillenote is totally separate from internet
radio. However, I think some not very clever talk from the
sales staff at Humanware has led people to believe that the unit
is good for internet radio when, in fact, it is not, as it does
not have realplayer.

The FM radio on the unit is just like a Walkman, allowing
reception of strong FM stations, provided the headphones are
connected to form an aerial. You do not need to be connected to
the internet for this, and it should be treated in the same way
as if you had a small Walkman stuck to the side of the
Braillenote.

PETER WILKINS.
