Hi Susan-Marie,

I think Alex has already given you most of the information.
It sounds like you have both machines, so take a backup of the flash disk on to the CF card and restore it on to the new machine first. You should include all the folders so your get you address list, email, and dictionary and KeySoft settings. Once you are happy that the information has made it successfully on to the new machine, then remove it from the old one.

Regards,
Steve.

Subject: [Braillenote] Clearing A BrailleNote MPower?

Good Day Everyone,
I know this is a stupid question, however, I'm hoping someone
will have the tolerance to help me. My name is Susan-Marie and I am a college student and I've recently received a new MPower and need to return the old MPower to my VR Counselor. The trouble is that I've had the old one for approximately 4 years and, of course, it contains a great deal of personal information. Can anyone please tell me the best way to reset the BrailleNote to the factory settings? Will it be necessary for me to delete each file individually? I think the best way to save all of my personally added information is to simply copy the entire contents of the old one to a compact flash card. Is that correct? Thanks so much for any help.

Respectfully,
Susan-Marie
