Grade two is still the standard code of braille for Americans. UEB has not
been adopted. Therefore, the majority of Americans will continue to prefer
grade two over UEB. So, if you write a message in braille, in your own
preferred code, it must translate into proper text. People who use a BT
keyboard and write standard braille have their messages automatically
translated into text by the BN before they are sent.
If you read braille books, you know the emphasis marker in braille is dots
4-6 before the word to be emphasized. If you emphasize four or more words,
dots 4-6 4-6 go before the first word and dots 4-6 go before the last word.
