Hi,

It might be good to raise this directly with HW.
They might want to have an example of the file, know what type of USB drive it is, how you created/changed the file, and how you saved it.
The format marker is a strange thing.
Did this file originate on a PC?
I don't know how the format markers get into files, but they often cause problems like missing data.

Regards,
Steve.

They were .doc files, with a format marker at cutoff.

What kind of files are they? Is there any kind of marker or
formatting at
the cut off spot?

Hello again listers,
I hope you understood my question about sin, cos, and tan.
Now another one: when I save files to a USB drive, sometimes it
gives me the message: "exception: command: data misalignment."
Then when I reopen my file, only the first 15 or so words
remain;
the rest have totally gone bye-bye. Can you help me in this
problem?

Zach
