Hello Noe, your battery probably needs recalibrated. Like others
have already reported, there are several ways to do this. The
easiest way is to just let it run all the way down until it's
dead and then recharge it. As far as battery life, I think it is
better to keep your Braillenote plugged into the charger as much
as you can. I have found over time this helps the battery life.
Some people charge their unit and then take it off of the charger
and let the battery discharge. I've noticed that the people who
do that end up having to replace their batteries. I've been
using the braillenote since 2000 and have never had too replace
my battery. Anyway, I hope this helps. By the way, you have a
very pretty and interesting name.
Enjoy your braillenote and don't hesitate to ask your questions
to the group.
Take care.

While all the songs rock, I have my favorites. More Than
Friends, Take Me Away, Love is Suicide. Anyone who enjoys kick
ass rock music shouldn't miss this cd. Every song on the cd is
worth the buying the cd. No rock music collection is complete
with out it. The music & lyrics make this one a must buy.

Subject: [Braillenote] A Battery Question
Hello listers,
I am a new Braille note user and have only had my unit about a
month or so.
I have a BT32 M-power and am still learning how to use it.
I've noticed that when I charge the Braille note, I'll turn it on
maybe two
or three days later and the battery has already run down. When I
plug it in
to charge it again, the unit resets itself and I get a message
saying that
the dictionary files were not loaded correctly, or something like
that.
I still haven't had my coffee, so I'm not quite running on all
cyllinders.
I say this because I'm usually pretty good at copying the error
messages, so
I apologize if I seem a bit scattered.
I'd appreciate any help or advice.
