What happens when you try to open such a book? If they do not appear, try
pressing space-x at the "list of all books" prompt to bring up the "list of
all files" instead. If it is another problem, please explain to us what is
going on. Do the bks2 files work any better?
Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] Bookshare books
Hello everyone:
I am new to the list but have already gained some useful information. I've
noticed that the Braille Note Apex no longer supports unpacking Bookshare
books. I assume this is because of the fact that Bookshare now uses
password-protected ZIP files; I was able to open a Bookshare book once it
had been unzipped. All the same, I think it would be useful if the device
could handle these files without the user having to unzip them on a PC. Is
that in the works? Or, am I doing something wrong? I tried simply opening
a
zipped Bookshare book with the Book Reader utility. Thanks in advance for
any suggestions.
Chris
