I tried a backup a week or so ago. With my GPS maps, I'm using about 3 gigs
or so, and after an hour I aborted the backup since it just kept beeping. I
too would like to see a faster, more efficient backup.

This morning, I thought i would try backing up my flash disk to see what
people are talking about with the Apex.
I have 10 mb of files, and when it finished, it said it copied 680 files.
This took 15 minutes to take place.
Clearly, this should not take this long.
Hw needs to look at the backup utility, and figure out why it is so slow.
