you can't get rid of voiceover, as that's what is providing the output to the display. a simple question, have you actually used a Mac before, or you thinking it's like jaws and something you can remove. If that is your thinking, I'm here to tell you, you can not remove voiceover, and from what I've learned from my own uses of my bn as a display there's some stuff I'm not sure is doable. contact me off list if you really want to discuss this, as I use a macBook as my secondary computer, as well as my brailleNote MPower

Listers, I am planning on getting an i-mac and I would like to be able
to eliminate VOICE OVER witch is the defalt screen reader on a mack
and instead use my braillenote empower as a braille display.  Trouble
is, I haven't an idea on how to do it. I know you sink the two devices
but how do you do it, and how do you make sure it works properly?
