It is a thought but I don't think that was it. The person that sent it out wouldn't have put an image in the file since she is blind herself and was sending it to other blind people. The file opened But nothing displayed. When I checked the file size it was 19 kb and so I just don't know.

Hello,
I had this problem, with some rtf's but not with others.
I found out, that the rtf's I was having difficulty with, had a
image in them.
So, you may have an image in the rtf and that will cause it not
to 1show the text.

Subject: [Braillenote] rtf files on apex

Has anyone had a difficult time opening an rtf file using an
apex. I don't remember having a problem with my Mpower. But i
received an rtf the other day and i could open it but none of the
text was there. When I opened it on my computer it was fine.
Thanks
Malaina
