I have accidentally moved mine, and yes, the apex resets itself
when the battery latch is moved.
Would anything work to help secure her battery latch?

Hi,
Uh oh... Sounds like an insecure battery latch...
As for reset: yes, I can confirm that Apex can reset despite the
power being
off, which does confirm what the geeks have been saying...
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] Apex and battery
Hi Everyone:
Last week I posted about all the crashes I have been having. I
followed
advice and things seem to be improving. I also mentioned that it
reset
itself in my purse. I have been able to pin point the source of
this issue.
This is caused by the battery. Although it's in its proper
place, 1 corner
is slightly lifted. And of course it's the side with the
connectors. Has
anyone experienced this? I am wondering if the issue is with the
battery or
the Apex. I am hoping it's the battery. In the mean time I have
to be
careful how I place the Apex down.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Grace
