Hello Danielle and list, she could try putting some tape over
where the battery latches. Any tape would do but the clear
packing tape would be best because it is thinner and there's less
sticky adhesive on it. It wouldn't leave a lot of sticky residue
like other tape. Any residue could be taken off with a little
alcohol and a rag.
I hope this helps.
Sincerely,
John

I have accidentally moved mine, and yes, the apex resets itself
when the battery latch is moved.
Would anything work to help secure her battery latch?
Danielle

Hi,
Uh oh... Sounds like an insecure battery latch...
As for reset: yes, I can confirm that Apex can reset despite the
power being
off, which does confirm what the geeks have been saying...
Cheers,
Joseph
