Yep, Book Reader is great for just that purpose. I use it for all my NLS
web braille reading and any other reading where I absolutely don't want to
touch the text or braille. The word processor makes it so easy to shave
changes that the book reader is very handy to have. You might want to
know that Space with X also puts the word processor into a read-only mode,
but this is very temporary and is best for when you occasionally want to
prevent text being changed while you're doing some navigation in something
you're otherwise in the middle of revising. Otherwise, Book Reader is
your friend.

Cheers,
Jerry

[Braillenote] protecting text

Hello,
I'm concerned about text files getting messed up and then resaved
with the mistakes in place? There are files which I only intend
to read, like some text files containing the books of the bible.
Is the best way to keep them from getting messed up to just read
them in book reader? I mean, you can't input text or hit keys on
accident within book reader and have that info saved, is this
correct?
Thanks,

Matt
