In answer to your first question, I had this happen once also. I
haven't had it happen any other time, but I was also wondering
what "was going on.
As to yy battery question, when I reset I usually have some
fluctuation in the battery as well. I think I might experience
this when I turn off the BN and then turn it on again in a few
minutes, even a few seconds.
I know that that probably doesn't help, but I wanted you to know
that you're not alone.

Hi,
I have two questions concerning my Apex BT 18.
Last night I was reading and after leaving the book I checked the
battery level which was at 37%.
I went to Keymail and started downloading 70 messages.
The speech level is set low and I was doing something else while
the mail downloaded.
The download was moving along fairly quickly when it stopped and
reported, "Error saving email."
I then heard something like part or card index. I'm not sure
about the exact wording.
Before I could check the display it was already moving on with
the download.
Before it had finished it said the same thing.
When I read the messages and checked the number it all seemed to
be okay, but I would like to know what this error message is
referring to and if I need to change some setting.
It had been sometime since I had last done a reset, so I did one.
This is where the second message comes in.
After the reset I checked the battery level again, and it
reported 48%. So it had gained 11 points.
Is that much fluctuation in battery level normal after performing
a reset?
I seem to have to charge my battery about every other day.
