I have also had problems with this, switching between French, Spanish and
German braille is an exorcise in futility.

Subject: [Braillenote] Problem With Translating German Manual into German
Braille

Hi listers. I have a document which is the manual of a musical software
program written in German. I just tried translating it into grade 1,5
German Braille on my APEX. However, although I tried several times, it
always came out with an English Grade 2 code at the beginning, followed by
grade 2 English Braille. I checked the Braille options and it said that the
language had definitely been set to German. In the utilities menu, the
working language was English, but when I changed this as well, the
translation still came out in grade 2 English Braille. I'd be happy to send
an attachment to anyone willing or able to assist me with this problem.

Thanks.

Michele
