i still prefer the original camera bag type case. Yes, you have to take it out to use it, but at least when in the case, it is completely covered, and protected from the elements. I think that the purpose of having a case is defeated when it doesn't completely cover the unit, and you have to put the unit, case and all, into another bag or case.
