I definitely agree with you J.R.  I like the new case, very much.  The purpose 
of not covering the entire thing, to my understanding, was so that you could 
still plug things such as a printer or headphones, into the unit without having 
to take it completely out.  I have a bt, and the infrared port is not covered 
at all.  I do not find that the flap closes at all, and when I use the bn when 
standing, I simply pull the flap under the case so that it is against ky body 
and doesn't hang.

The only suggestion I have is to come out with a case that is not built for the 
GPS.  As Terri pointed out, the straps are not adjustable because of the flap 
with velcro for the GPS receiver.  The patches of velcro on the sides usually 
either get stuck on things, or lead to curious questions as to why external 
velcro is running along the sides of the case.  Laura
