Hi Bob, It looks to me as though you did the right thing. I'm not sure if hitting p for postpone instead of c for cancel would have helped you. I don't use the alarm that much, but looking in the command summary it appears as though you did the right thing. You also might try an r after the backspace-enter to see the alarm details and maybe you could cancel from within that, but it's only a guess.
I wonder if your bn was in need of a reset or something. Again, just a guess though.
