Yes, I understand what you are saying about the OOOLLLDDD UK Braille
system/rules and the other issues you brought up!

I could read any books done in UK Braille without a problem.  I am
familiar with the Tiger but have not yet seen one!  One day I will see
one.  You are correct that Duxbury itself is NOT even the only company
under the sun that writes/compiles software for Braille translation!
Look at MegaDots and a few others I do not remember, but Duxbury is
still more better known than the others.  You know Duxbury first
appeared back in 1975 when the first programmer, who attended/graduated
from Harvard, wrote his first software to work with the OOOLLLDDD and
SSSLLLOOOWWW computers!  Now, it is his sons who do the writing.  Their
father still helps them with some.  You see I am about 45 minutes from
them.  Smile.

Nevertheless, it would be interesting to see what the
mathematic/scientific notations look like on embossed paper from the
Tiger!
