I agree with you Teri about the strap. Yesterday, when I was using the BT
standing for the first time, the strap slipped on me. When you first get
it, the strap is doubled over. I did not bother to shorten it. While I was
using it yesterday the strap slipped and thats how I discovered that a
rubberband was holding it. Good thing I did not drop it!

The case my new BN QT 32 came with doesn't have a metal plate. But it's
very difficult to take the BN out of it and put it back in. The case
doesn't cover the BN completely, so when it's pouring down rain and you want
to take it with you, you must put it in something else to protect it from
the rain. The straps of the case are so big I can't adjust them to be small
enough.

I have at least three different cases which PDI has put out for the BN and
VN. None of them are completely satisfactory, but I prefer the
old-fashioned bag type case. I prefer to use the BN out of the case and the
bag is the easiest thing to use for traveling. I also like the extra
storage space.

There are times I would like to be able to use the BN while standing, but
manhandling it into the case it came in is quite inconvenient and the straps
would cause it to come down passed my waist which would be an inconvenient
position for writing. Also, the flaps keep closing, making it annoying to
use inside the case. The case my old BN came with only has a hook to hold
the BN, and I wouldn't want to put my trust in it.

I don't have a solution for case that would suit everyone's needs, but this
new case, the wrap-around one, is a definite disappointment to me because
it's a bear to use!
