Thanks, Robert.
I'd hate to see how often I have to charge the bn after two years. Also, if
I were to use a modem or microdrive, this thing would eat batteries like candy.
I will bet the gps really drains things as well. I guess you'd have to make
sure you had a full charge before you went outdoors<grin> or you could end
up lost somewhere with no power.

Hi Paul,
The kind of battery life that you are getting is very typical. It is just
the nature of the BrailleNote. You won't do any better with a new battery
in my experience.

Hi, Bob. I guess I'd really like to hear what people do in this regard.
I charged my bn qt up overnight and unplugged it yesterday morning. I
would guess I used it maybe two and a half to three hours at times during
the day. This might be a slight over exaggeration.
However, when I finally put it away for the night, I was at 75 percent. I
turned it on this morning and was at 72 percent. I turned it off and then
back on a few minutes later to add something to my address book. Now, I
was at 71%. I turned it on just as I was writing to you and after a few
hours, I am still at 71 percent.
I just can't imagine that I use this thing 16 to 20 hours during the
week, but by Saturday, I will be looking at probably seven percent.
I just wonder if I need to complain about a bad battery or not. One would
think that if we really get 20 hours and if I use the unit for one to two
hours a day, more likely one, that I should last for two weeks or more.
Any comments from anyone reading this message would be appreciated.
And why doesn't that l key work in the support page?
