Hi all, Jeff, Web Braille books are books that can be downloaded from the NLS web site. They are written in Grade II Braille, or at least most of them are. You will need a userID and a password to access Web Braille. I'd call your regional library and tell them you want to get signed up. The service is free, so you don't have to worry about additional subscription costs. So long as you're subscribed to Bookshare, that means you're in with NLS, and therefore, they should be able to give you a userID and password with no trouble.
Then, you can go onto the web Braille portion of the site and browse or search for books or whatever. Happy reading, Ann P. Ann K. I have been a bookshare subscriber for a while, but wasn't aware of this other source for online books. I've seen occasionally that certain books on the NLS catalog are downloadable, is this the same?? Anyway, thanks for your help in advance Jeff ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
