Guys, Calm down. PDI has also offered free cell cleaning and minor repairs at shows. Anyway, Optelec can clean a Braillenote for free, just as any third party could offer to clean your watch or your tape deck for free.
IF you are in the area, go and get a cleaned up unit. Oh yes, you will probably get a sales pitch from Optalec. And maybe a hand full of free hard candy.
