You are very lucky not to have lost data. This happened to me both when I was running KeySoft versions 3.06, 4.1 and 5.1, and before and after I had the hardware upgraded. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be a matter of "do this" or "don't do that" for data to be corrupted or files to be lost. It just happens at random moments for no reason that I know of. Given this random nature, I think it's likely that PDI won't be able to tell us definitely why this happens. I would love to be proved wrong.
