What you actually have is called a microdrive. I've never heard of anyone
calling it a microdriver, so I thought it might be a different piece of
hardware. There is no such thing as a microdriver.

Its not stupid, a microdriver is a card that goes in the PCMCIA slot of the
BN. Mine is a 5 GB card. The card is physically bigger than a compactflash
card.

Sarai,
What is a microdriver? Is it the same thing as a microdrive? Or is it
something different? Sorry if this is a stupid question.--Grin!

I remember specifically asking you at convention if 6.1 would support blue
tooth and you said no that only 6.0 which is for the PK would support Blue
tooth. I'm glad I'm not in school right now cause the ability to support a
disk drive would be a problem, but I do need to know if 6.1 would support my
Toshiba microdriver. I also need to know if there will bve problems with my
Spanish software that I have on it.
Thanks,

Hi Isaac. Quite often, there is a misunderstanding surrounding the
purchasing of an SMA versus the purchase of a product. If you purchase an
SMA, then your credit card will be charged immediately, since an SMA
entitles you to the next two major upgrades and is a product in itself. If
6.1 was purchased outside the SMA programme, and a credit card has been
charged immediately, we'll gladly look into this.

The issue relating to the Superdisk drive is very clearly documented in the
release notes, and in fact it's now been addressed. I'll have more to say
about this later today.

I can't find any record of us ever having said that 6.1 would support
Bluetooth. It was never the intention.

Hope this helps.

Hello floks,
I am appalled at these things:
1. having one's credit card charged the day the order for 6.1 was placed
although the order didn't come in until six months later.
2. Not being told that 6.1 lacked the ability to allow one to use their
superdisk drive.
3. the fact that 6.1 lacks bluetooth support.
4. that PDI chose not to inform people of these things when and where they
occurred.
5. the lack of communications between PDI and it's customers.
I would've contested the charge to my credit card immediately! You don't
charge me until you ship the goods, otherwise I contest!
I certainly don't understand these issues. Now I know why people are
anxious about their upgrades arriving! they've been charged!
I believe the list deserves explanations of these tactics.
thank you.
Isaac
