I use the BN in onehanded mode, as I suffered a stroke 9 years back, & my
righthand should never be in proximity to a keyboard!  For that matter,
glasses containing liquid should never be in the area of that hanc either.

If you are in one handed mode, you can hit whatever keys needed to make a
letter, however you want to do it, & the letter won't be acted upon until
you strike the spacebar.  Exsample, the letter D might be achieved by
striking dot 1, then dot 4, & then dot 5, then space.  To type a space,
strike spacebar twice.

Yes, this can be slower, by a considerable amount, but it is certainly
better than the alternative of not being able to braille at all.  I do know
that some people actually use this mode for writing, when they are on the
phone at work, or temporarily limited to one hand because of injury, etc.
