Does anyone know what this involves or if the parts are even available? I was looking at putting my own PID mod on my B2 but I would prefer to make it like a B3 instead.
I have recently been testing my shot temp from the B2 and have consistently noticed a 3 degree (celcius) difference in water comming from the group depending on the stage in the brew element cycle. i.e. if my set temp is 92 the water comming from the group after a 3 ounce rinse is 95.0c just after the element turns off, and, 91.8c about 5 mins later just before the element comes on again. I have read that the GICAR pulses the element meaning that overshoot will be minimal and the difference mentioned above will be eliminated. I am still very happy with my B2, I just want to eliminate another uncontrolable variable from my espresso routiene. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
