The wire was not flexed severely. It was not flexed at all after I received the Brewtus II. Perhaps it was flexed during manufacturing. Tech support at Whole Latte Love was famililiar with that type of problem, had fixed it many times, and gave me detailed instructions on how to repair it. The problem is apparently the H-shaped connector that is prone to failure.
