You can try adjusting the OPV valve in hope that an adjustment will get it going. To do this put the back flush disc in, turn on the pump and turn in the adjustment screw until you get to 10 bar. That should give you about 9 bar with a proper coffee flow.If that does not do it then you can take it apart the OPV valve to clean the rubber valve. It sounds like you have may a little mineral build up on it. To access the rubber valve let them machine cool down to room temperature, turn the adjustment screw counter clockwise until the it comes apart, then use needle nose pliers to pull out the spring and on the end of the spring is the rubber valve seat. If that does not do it then you should replace the OPV valve. While you have it apart you may just want to go ahead and do some preventative maintenance and replace the pump, air remover and the OPV all at the same time.Todd SalzmanWhole Latte Love

--- Begin Message ---Hi all I have had my Brewtus for about 4 years and back flush it with caffetto every 2 weeks. In addition I replaced the shower screen and gasket about 12-18 months ago. I have been noticing for the past week or so that whenever I pull a shot there is increased water flowing from the OPV valve, this has not reduced the quality of the shot. However this morning i have noticed excessive water flowing from the opv, such that there was insufficient pressure for an extraction. I was able to pull a shot with less coffee in the portafilter after. Also i use a 14grm basket. Has anyone experienced this before? is it fixed by replacing gaskets? Any insight would be appreciated.
