Todd and Doc, Thanks for the replies. Both of your comments make sense. Now that I think about it, a leak in the E61 group sounds logical based on my symptoms. I'll tear that down and clean-up/repair/replace as appropriate. As for the P-stat, I'll plan to order 2...1 to replace the current one, and 1 so that I'll have a spare on hand. I do regular back flushes, but I've never gone so far as to pull the "guts" of the E61 and inspect/clean them. After 30 months of use, that's probably not a bad idea. As for 24/7 ops...its more like 9 hrs/5 days a week for my machine. Personally, looking at the quality of the parts in the Brewtus, I'd think it could hack that kind of "punishment". You are right about the energy consumption though. I need to figure out some kind of a timer that will have everything up to temp before I get up in the AM and then again before I come home from work. Does anyone have any recommended timers that have worked for them?
