Hi,
I own the same machine since January. I rarely leave it on all the
time, in fact only when I plan to use it all the time during the day.
If you only plan to have a couple of espresso, for example in the
morning, I suggest you to have it on a timer as you did with the
Silvia.
Personally in the morning I switch on only the brew boiler aprox
30-40' before brewing my first espresso. Try and find the arrangement
you think fit better for you.
Please note that Brewtus is a prosumer machine, not a professional
coffee machine and it seems to me not designed to be left on all the
time.
