i bought a bII the month they came out and mine's been on a timer since. that's over 5 years and i have had no problems cause by the timer. i don't think you'll have any problems as long as the timer is heavy enough to carry the load. good luck. h

The merchant I puchased from recommended leaving the machine on pretty much all the time, turning it off only once a week. I had my Silvia on a timer and was planning to do the same with the Brewtus. I was wondering what other people's thoughts were on this. I know it is a well discussed topic elsewhere with other machines, but I'd like to know what group members think specifically about the Brewtus. One thing I was thinking of doing was leaving the brew boiler on and shutting off the Steam boiler until needed. Thanks and am looking forward to following this group in the future.
