Just got my Brewtus today and was actually surprised to find the little softener cartridge in the tank. Since i don´t think it is really useful (i am using bottled water), i´d like to remove it altogether. Is it OK to just leave its tube open in the tank as it is or do i have to remove it? I couldn´t find anything in the archives...
