I was really excited when I upgraded from my Rancilio Sylvia to the Brewtus IV. I called WWL to actually order a different machine, and after a long conversation with them, they convinced me to purchase the Brewtus. I got the Rotary version and had it plumbed and drained.
I enjoyed fantastic coffee for about a year and a half, until last week. All of a sudden, the boiler would not heat up past 61 degrees. I looked at the forums and the [useless] manual, and then called WWL technical support. After many attempts to get an answer, basically they said that it only had a one year warranty, and there was nothing that they could do. One year warranty, on a $2K machine, and it breaks in less than two. I had my Sylvia for 8 years, never a problem. This one was 3 times the price and lasted 22 months.I am surprised and disappointed, and wish that I had bought a different machine. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
