I filmed a Youtube video on it and let the dealer, Zcafe have a look at it. The first question he has was if I was plugging it into a CFGI outlet. I told him I had *just* before the PID started misbehaving. He told me that a CFGI outlet can actually damage the PID and should not be used. If I was guessing, the dealer has seen so many problems with water inside an espresso machine causing GFI faults that they will say anything to make sure you don't use them. A GFI should not be able to cause any problems in an attached device. As far as I know, all that's in the circuit is just a relay and a small parallel wound choke used to look for current differences in the 2 wires. -- Ira -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
