I am on my first pump and OPV, 4-5 year old Brewtus II and have a similar
problem. In my case I can pull the first shot of the day just fine,
30-35secs full 10-11 PSI depending on the tamp just fine. However, 2nd shot
and the pressure falls to 6psi within the first 10 seconds and the pump
gets abnormally quiet. The shot continues though at this lower pressure. I
have no problem backflushing though - with the blind basket I get full
10-11psi pressure and don't see it drop although I don't typically stress
the pump and hold it quite as long. Any recommendations? Pump? OPV? Thanks.
