I forgot to follow up to this post with the results.

I ordered the adapter, but I don't think it was necessary.
I wasn't impressed with the two hole tip that came with it, so I
switched it out for the pointy one holer that came with the stock
Brewtus steam wand.
I'm pretty happy with the results.
